What Makes Us Different

  • Customizable Program:
    • Research shows the mid to long term retention of corporate training is dismal. We feel the 5% retention level that is most sighted is unacceptable. One of the primary reasons for the lack of “stickiness” is that the idea that a single bundle of training resources will be effective with every organization in every environment.
    • Our Program is unique in that each track has content specific to an organization’s workforce. Targeted coaching will implement the concepts from live and virtual training and coaching.

 

  • Internalized Values:
    • We can all agree that most organizations are not particularly effective when it comes to getting staff members to “live the values” of the organization. Imagine the impact if your staff could connect the dots between the organizational values and benefit to them on a personal level.

    • Imagine if there were a way to objectively measure the effectiveness of your training and engagement efforts, in such a way you could trace it back to dollars and cents. Too many organizations simply invest in training and the hope for results.
    • Our Program measures data specifically for Turnover, and Engagement Scores, as well as Absenteeism via BDA Health Informatics.  These parameters will be tracked at agreed upon intervals to ensure a positive ROI.

 

  • 2-3 Prong Approach:
    • Time is a common worry when it comes to offering training. Doesn’t it make more sense to deliver training in smaller, bite-sized pieces, rather than big blocks?
    • Wouldn’t training would be even more effective if the person had the opportunity to get live feedback, based on their specific experiences?
    • Our curriculum is developed for each organization’s identified needs.  Specific deliverables are a blended program of coaching (both onsite and telephonically), onsite training, and use of the Dunbar Virtual Training (VT) Platform.  It is a unique, immersive learning experience that is designed not to overwhelm the learner, while still having the learner’s knowledge of the concepts tested and tracked for administration’s review.  The Platform is compatible with smartphones, tablets and PCs. 

 

  • The path to Engagement is Empowerment:
    • Have you ever seen people in the workplace who just seemed to be sleepwalking through their days, or worse yet, seemed miserable coming into work? Have you ever noticed how you can throw time, money and training at those people and it seems to roll off of them like water?
    • We focus on helping staff members identify what it feels like to have things being pushed at them, and why they might perceive that they are being told what to do and how to feel. We reveal what it looks like if they were shown a path to find more joy in their work, in ways that benefit them specifically, and the organization.

 

  • How we change things:
    • Ever felt that the skills and procedures taught in your training stays in the training rooms instead of in the actual workplace? Most training is done at one time and at one location, usually in 4 or even 6 hour blocks.
    • Our focal point is improved staff engagement through training and coaching delivered in small bites over a longer period of time. We aim to help participants learn how the concepts can be applied in the real world, in real time.
